Potholing Using T-Rex Hydro Excavation Services
|
Do you know more or less where that utility line is located?
Potholing is the most common use of hydro excavation services. It is the process of excavating a hole in order to locate a utility that's location is more or less known.
Potholing allows for as little material as possible to be removed in order to verify the location and grade of the utility. These holes are generally small (as small as a 6" diameter) and can be back filled easily. For deeper holes, a wider diameter will be used to allow the operator to see and function.
If you are unsure where the utility line is, we may recommend Trenching as a more efficient alternative.
